I want some stylish boots/shoes that are comfortable too.

What is on your list?

so many things as I've not bought anything yet this winter:

Ash virgin high tops in black or pewter
grey cardigan from topshop
hush goldie 2 jumper
some wide leg trousers from Me & Em
some knitwear from mango (saw on DMBL40 earlier this week)
a fake fur coat (really liked the whistles one)
a black coat/parka in Other Stories
some pointy flats/possibly loafer type things
some black ankle boots - have managed to lose one of mine from last year and can't find it anywhere
lots of jumpers
some black jeans - maybe asos ones with holes in the knees
a couple of work dresses - saw some in allium B which looked nice
a silk shirt from & Other stories
a sparkly sequin skirt from mango for christmas parties
a brocade/silk pencil skirt and black polo neck to go with it (no idea where from, but saw someone in this combo and it looked really nice).

that's it for starters!

I won't get a fraction of that as I have no money, but it's on my wish list.

Yes DD would love a black skirt with pockets for sixth form, they don't seem easy to find.

Elephants years ago I had a nice wool skirt with pockets no idea where it was from. Have you tried Zara or Massimo Dutti?

Boots- low heeled - so maybe bikers. Bought Hudson vow but haven't had a play with them yet, not sure if they re keepers or not.

Have my eye on ZAdig and Voltaire tuxedo blazer jacket for the sales

All saints leather jacket in black grey will be my next purchase I think. My current leather jacket is just too shabby now.

Would like a chiffon-y type skirt to wear with cashmere sweater, knit tights and said boots and maybe another tube/ pencil skirt for everyday.

But as I'm doing "research" to find the perfect ones, I keep coming across other shoes/boots as I like the look of instead. Hence I've just ordered dark navy blue lace up ankle boots... oops.

I want a big, oversized, chunky knit wool cardigan, thigh-length and with a low V neck, for less than £50. Ideally some sort of marly neutral colour.

A Brora boyfriend style green cashmere cardigan and matching long fingerless gloves, A pair of Duo Brita heeled suede boots. I think I will wait for the sale, at least for the cashmere, I can just about afford them now but it will mean no budget for anything else until December.

The only thing I am on the hunt for at the moment is decent hip length roll neck jumpers - have realised I live in long jumpers/leggings over winter simply because I don't have any shorter warm tops to wear with jeans.

Unfortunately the fashion this year seems to be for round neck jumpers which don't work on my frame at all

Oh and some dark brown knee high boots to wear over aforementioned jeans!

And therein lies the problem - my list seems to be made up of things which, once bought, lead into to me 'needing' something else.....

On my To Buy list:
a couple of short sleeved ,round necked jumpers (probably those M&S Cashmilon ones )

A chocolate brown jumper

On my Wants list:

A black Tuxedo jacket (saw one in H&M and another in Sainsburys that I covet but I know I'd never wear . In my mind, I'd wear with jeans and black boots. In real life, I'd look like a waiter.

On my In My Wildest Dreams list:

A pair of M&S stretchy 'over the knee' length boots. To wear with leggings and a jumper rather than jumper dress and tights.
If I wore with jeans I'd risk looking like Shirley from Eastenders

My big spend was new biker boots but I've just got them

So I'm currently after a grey wool/cashmere cardigan, the perfect black wool pencil skirt, and a charcoal grey work dress. Very dour.

Grey cashmere scarf.

Pencil skirts.

Nice tailored work pinafore dress which doesn't make me look like a truck.
