Anybody had one!
(Put your hand down, posh spice)

I need to fix hooded eyes, but sadly with a 1k budget, it looks like an eyelift is out of the question....

Does Botox work underneath for eye bags too? Looking rough at mo....luckily have fringe so concertinaed forehead won't really matter that much haha

I have had it done since 2007 however it's not working quite so well these days as the spare eyelid skin is getting too much to be hoiked up by my lifted eyebrows , I am going to bite the bullet and get an upper bleph done next year . Go for a consultation with a good medically qualified practitioner and ask their opinion . Also ask to see before and afters of botox work done

Was there a dramatic difference? I'm brazen enough to live with one if so....
And

Eye bags....can Botox do anything about that?!

Hi Fergus I have a thread on here that I have had secret botox.

This is day 3 and brows are already lifted, and apparently they might get more so.

There was a few on the thread who had botox for under eyes successfully. I never knew it could be used for this so I am going to ask about it next time :)

I had crows feet and 11s done and got the brow lift as a side effect (was told it would happen) incase you're wondering.

I honestly can't remember what I looked like pre botox / fillers as I have had them for so long now but when it's wearing off I do look far more haggard literally overnight . A good practitioner will work with you for the end result you want ... So if you want a non dramatic gentle introduction tell them . Remember less is more you can always add but it's more difficult even in the case of fillers to take away . Botox will not work for under eye bags so say , you have to remember what botox is , in basic terms a muscle paralysing agent . Botox for crows feet around the eyes sometimes helps eye bags indirectly ( although it can also make them worse once again a practitioner needs a look at how your face moves to determine the best course of action ) fillers in the tear troughs of the eye and also fillers in the cheek area can lift the face so the under eye area appears smoother .
The best treatment I have is juvederm voluma in my cheeks . I am naturally very skinny and by my early 30,s my face had lost any bit of fat it had . I had a syringe if voluma in my cheeks and it was like looking at myself 10 years ago almost instantly . Cannot recommend it enough although be aware it can bruise and Is very tricky to get right . If this is your first foray into medical cosmetics just please make absolutely sure the person you see is qualified and trained to do the procedure . Word of mouth is good , check for any online reviews and question the practitioner when you meet them . You should receive a full consultation covering risks and medical history and what you hope to achieve before anyone advances towards you with a needle . Good luck I'm sure you will love the results.

I was just reading this & wonder if any pp could offer any advice? I've had Botox about 3 weeks ago, but for migraines. I had about 31 injections around my neck, scalp, forehead, and temples. I was told beforehand that my eyebrows could droop. DROOP! I now cannot apply any eye make up properly at all! My bottom eyelids are hidden under all the excess upper eyelid skin. Mascara? Forget it, I can't get at my eyelashes & if I do it's smudges onto to top eyelid area. My eyelids were droopy at the corners to begin with, I now look like a cross between an angry bird & melted doll. :(((

I can't afford to fix it. And it hasn't helped with my migraines either (although its still early days) I'm due for another round in 3 months, should I mention the 'side effect' to the nurse next time? The injection site on my forehead was around mid centre if I remember correctly. Is there any way to avoid this drooping from happening next time? I think I'd prefer the shocked look!
