Back to pre baby weight Grin
No longer have an arse Sad
It's gone all flat and saggy... No one told me this would happen. My jeans will not stay up. Any suggestions?

Jeans with flap pockets on or covering it up. Dresses and skirts that skim. My MIL is afflicted with pancake arse and looks so much better in long skirts than trousers. Tunics are good too.

Squats of course and millions of the buggers!

momb · 13/10/2014 19:11

you pay for the surgery and you can have some of mine!

standingonlego · 13/10/2014 19:12

This was me after DS2 - squats and time were the answer. Dull but true

Leviticus · 13/10/2014 19:17

Squats, yes.

Are you on Instagram? There's a good account called squat guide I think that posts handy videos and inspiring photos to get your bum sticking out again.

burnishedsilver · 13/10/2014 19:21

Squats and lunges. Its probably just temporary after your weight loss.

Could be worse. You could have a monstrosity like Kim kardashian. She must have her clothes altered to contain it.

Somanyillustrations · 13/10/2014 19:24

I had a horrible feeling that squats would be involved Confused
Skirt shopping in the short term though...

Would you like mine?

prettywhiteguitar · 13/10/2014 19:29

I have a long flat arse that only squats sort out so I sympathise ! Or yoga ?

Pockets on your jeans, make sure you can see your bum clearly in the mirror when trying on trousers. And skirts with fairly thick material.

EmilyGilmore · 13/10/2014 19:32

It may be temporary. L?k

Gunznroses · 13/10/2014 19:32

I have enough for both of us, currently doing squats to get rid of some.

EmilyGilmore · 13/10/2014 19:39

Sorry about that! Meant to say that my shape changed after the birth (was really quite skinny and svelte for a while - think there was a net loss during pregnancy as I wasn't eating much) then after about 6-9 months it seems to be back to normal pre-preg shape, having gained a few pounds too.

I think for a lot of women pregnancy does change their shape even when they are back at normal weight.

Squats, cycling and running. Or if you are really keen try Jillian Michael's Killer Buns and Thighs. That works.

Sorry - a little bit of effort required - but it's worth it.

I never used to like my bum until I started working out regularly. I love it now - it's quite firm for a mid 40s chick :)

Somanyillustrations · 13/10/2014 20:26

Emily This is DC2, and this didn't happen first time round! I'm a very different shape though, wider hips and ribs, thicker waist, which makes the flat bum even worse!

Travel I didn't realise cycling did anything for the bum. I have a hilly but short commute to work, I might try cycling if I can shower when I get in.
