Bra help - again!

Thanks to the forum I've made great advances in better bra fitting, but still having some issues.

Measured myself and ended up 36D rather than the 36B I'd been wearing for years - 37" underbust and 41" around (I think, trying to remember!) Also went to a local shop who had a good reputation who out me into a 36D. Ended up with a panache super bra and a Bon-something. They made my boobs look great, but the wires really dug into my sternum and were painful after a little while.

Went back, got a panache plunge and a triumph one without wires but plastic tubing. After a good scoop on the plunge I'm spilling out. The wire situation is much better though, but I'm getting some terrible back fat rolls with the 36 band - I started looking at new bras as I thought the 36B was too small for me. I'm really tall and seem to have huge ribs with a bit of squishy fat on. Anyway, just after some tips. I'm off to bravissimo for another try later today. I guess I just need to live with bulge? It is my fat after all!

I'm getting a bit fed up of wasting money on bras that seem ok in the shop I change my mind about after a few wears. Thanks!

So! Want back to Bravissimo and had an absolutely brilliant fitter who spent far too long with me than she probably should have done, was great.

I ended up with a Bravissimo Satine in 36E, Freya Patsy half cup in 36DD and Freya Marvel in 34F! I love them all.

I'm wearing the patsy today and was worrying about how there's a very small gape and everyone will notice and point and laugh, but it fits my other really well! I'm sure it's not noticeable under my clothes.

I really like the Freya marvel but I think on the left cup it's perhaps just a bit too gapey. Although again the other is a good fit. If I make sure my posture is good I don't notice so maybe this will make me finally sit up straight and walk tall!

We came to the conclusion that I'm pretty much smack in the middle of the available sizes - oh for a 35 band! Or some sort of DD-E mix!

Does anyone pad their smaller cup out of interest?

Actually now I've been walking around and doing normal things rather than squinting down at my left boob and repeatedly poking it the patsy is fine!

Shantotto there is some info on the better bra campaign blog about managing asymmetry issues -it can normally be done without needing to pad with bra position, straps etc
