Could you pls help me?

I need to buy a hair clipper to cut my baby's hair. He is 16 months old.

There are quite a few things on internet shops. But which one is good?

Thank you

are you planning on taking it all off? Can you not go to a hairdresser?

Why would you clipper a 16 month old?? Just trim his fringe or sides when he's asleep or take him to a proper hairdressers.

Hairdressers...Every time!

I believe it's a cultural thing for some people to shave babies' hair off (something about making it grow back stronger and thicker). Apologies if I've got that wrong!

OP I'd say a hairdresser is probably the best idea as they'll be skilled enough to do it quickly, as I can't imagine your toddler being terribly happy about it, if they're anything like mine - very wriggly!

Why would you go to a hairdresser if you can do it yourself?!

We did our ds's hair at the weekend, just used a regular hair clipper!

Well that may be your experience but the using term 'miniature thug' is pretty offensive and unnecessarily rude.

I'm interested in this topic as I thought I need to buy a hair clipper or a similar tool.

So is it true that a hairdresser or barber will know how to do this? I cannot imagine how my baby will sit still for a 'stranger' to cut his hair.

Ask around locally to see if there is a kids hairdresser near you , we have one that has kids tv playing and themed chairs/mirrors, lots of toys etc

Another option is a mobile hairdresser that comes to you, so you can put a sheet down in front if his favourite telly :)
