I need the bra people - is it possible I have worn a bra 6" wrong all my adult life?

I am not sure of the names of the bra experts but I remember reading a thread a while back and finally got hold of a measuring tape...I am pretty petite, sporty and extremely flat chested, especially post breastfeeding. I always wear a bra, and prefer under wired padded ones, but I don't think I actually need one. I have always worn a 34A, I was measured once I think but they have always kind of fitted, I think...anyway, they have not fitted nearly as well since finishing breastfeeding and I was trying to come to terms with the fact I must be a 34 AA but then I read the thread, finally got a tape measure and...I am a 28" and a 32", so what bra size do I need? And where makes good bras for people with an underwhelming chest?

Thank you!

Right, just followed instructions. Back to front the strap feels loose (but to be fair it's a fairly elderly bra.) Round the right way, it's clearly higher at the back than the front. Scooping fills the cups better but the top of the cup still sits away from my body, esp at the sides - yes, it's a plunge bra, and reading the earlier posts I know that won't help. I'd say my boobs are wide set and shallow post kids. So I should try the sizes you mention in unpadded unmoulded styles? Any recommendations?

Oh and stupidly I said 34c when I meant 36c.

OK, I think your probably going to want the 34. I'm guessing you're not seeing the impact of scooping because being an elderly 36 it's more like a 38 so scooping won't do anything. The cups won't be held up properly so they'll just be falling away from your chest.

I'd suggest trying possibly the:
Bravissimo own brand half cups
Cleo Maddie
Cleo Juna
Freya Patsy half cup
Freya marvel
Fauve half cups
Curvy Kate Tease me/Thrill me/fleurty/entice
Tutti Rouge - anything
