I have been looking for The Bag for months, but can't find it...am hoping stylish MNers can help. The Bag is black, brown, maybe oxblood? leather (although wouldn't rule out green or purple Grin) and a decent size (will take ipad, Kindle and various child-related detritus (dummies, items of interest picked up from pavement which Must Be Taken Home)). The Bag needs to have a shoulder strap so I can be hands free, and fasten properly so I don't get the fear about me purse disappearing. The Bag might be a satchel style? The Bag needs to not be more than £300.

Oh wise ones, can you help?

oooh mrs i have just bought that last one but in a gorgeous peacock / teal type colour -- it is sooooo unusual and I lurve it !!! - have had lots of comments on my smart bag - has two straps and lots of room inside but a large pocket on the outside for stuff you need easily, keys, phone etc.

Place marking as like a few suggestions on here.
I am currently toting a saddle bag from Scaramanga, and I do love it - it looks great and is very comfortable to wear - but I get annoyed with the buckle fastening (even thought it's very smooth and easy, you can do it with one hand easily) and lack of compartments.

I'm always looking out for 'the one'. I'd spend maybe £200.
