Hello, is there anybody here with pale skin and medium to dark blond hair, who has had success with this?

I've heard great things but they've all been from darker haired people.

Also, I read on an old thread that you're not supposed to use one when pregnant or breastfeeding. I haven't been able to find that info on Phillips website so was wondering if that is incorrect?

Thanks in advance for any answers.

I recently got one of these. The hairs on my legs are partly blonde and partly dark blonde / light brown. It has worked pretty well so far. Just done my 5th treatment. After the 3rd one there was hardly any hair growing back Smile
For some reason it has worked less well on my underarms and about 50% of hairs remain, even though they are all light brown
Only done 2 treatments on bikini line so far so can't really comment but obv the hair is darker there so am feeling hopeful, and regrowth was definitely lighter after 2nd treatment (I could tell as I get horrendous razor burn - you have to shave before you zap - and the burn was definitely not as bad 2nd time round)
If you can afford it, get one - they sell pretty well on eBay if you find it doesn't work.

It's crap. I binned mine

ItIsSmallerOnTheOutside · 01/10/2014 00:35

Argh no, no, no.
I did not want conflicting advice and I certainly did not want to be told anything negative. I wanted everyone to tell me how great it was and possibly to say they had a spare one I could have for free Grin

On a serious note, thanks for answering!

I have tested a few for an online company so can speak with a fair amount of experience. Erm, they are OK but the results are patchy. The one designed for the face was crap and I had to shave my face beforehand! I find the 99p Epistick much more effective. Agree that second hand is a good bet as paying £££s for something which may or may not work is a good plan. I have dark(ish) body hair and light/medium skin so it should work really well.

Just to mention this. Much cheaper and you have the security of being able to try it out and return within 90 days if it doesn't work for you. I'm impressed with mine - but I have darker hair.

NoArmaniNoPunani · 01/10/2014 21:08

You could have had mine for free if I hadn't binned it

Fatmanbuttsam · 01/10/2014 21:10

Working so far for me

carrielou2007 · 01/10/2014 22:34

I have one, honey blonde hair found big success! Underarms not so much, legs and bikini line amazing. Not used since had dc3 bought when dc2 was just starting solids at about 5 months and still bf lots and lots and lots. Not long finished feeding dc3 must get back to it if he ever sleeps through...

MissWimpyDimple · 01/10/2014 22:59

Underarms have worked the best. Basically gone after 3 goes and now just fine downy hair so zap it once in a while.

Bikini line also good, but patchy but soooo much more manageable.

Face good but I only had a few hairs.

Legs only just started but already softer and less noticeable.

I love mine. I'm pale with medium brown hair.

It definitely does work when used correctly with the correct hair type.

It isn't a permanent hair removal, results will last about 8 weeks when you get into the cycle.

ItIsSmallerOnTheOutside · 03/10/2014 13:12

Thanks for all the answers Smile

I didn't realise it wasn't permanent Dotty, although 8 weeks is good.

Also thanks for the link bewleysistersbewleysisters. That's a lot cheaper.
