I've never really used it, but as I'm getting a bit older I'd like to start taking care of my hands a bit more. So that's it really, I'd like some advice a to which one to get.
Thanks Smile

Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment.Occasionally I am unfaithful to it but I always return as nothing else works as well.

BettyMoody · 28/09/2014 20:44

Aveda. Clarins

Windowbasket · 28/09/2014 20:45

Crabtree & Evelyn orange handcream - totally gorgeous plus works really well.
Clarins, too as previous poster mentioned.
Or Body shop hemp hand cream.

Catswiththumbs · 28/09/2014 20:48

Loccitane without doubt

Philoslothy · 28/09/2014 20:49

I use Liz Earle one that I really like. To be honest as I like that one I have not tried many others.

EmilyGilmore · 28/09/2014 20:52

Aveda Hand Relief. Only one that doesn't leave me wanting to wash my hands afterwards. No grease, but very thick and luxurious.

And the name is a bit rude Wink

jinnybag · 28/09/2014 21:32

Clarins or l'occitane

CointreauVersial · 28/09/2014 21:32

L'Occitane.

StarMeKitten · 28/09/2014 21:35

L'Occitane. Smells lovely and a little goes a long way.

CocktailQueen · 28/09/2014 21:35

Body shop hemp hand cream - doesn't smell lovely but is very effective and makes hands feel fab. Or clarins hand and nail cream - smells luxurious and feels fantastic too.

Zippyandbungle · 28/09/2014 21:39

Second body shop hemp cream. After I have gardened it's the only cream that makes my hands smooth. I have loved it for years.

ThisBitchIsResting · 28/09/2014 21:41

Can I have two please?

this Nutrogena one - cos it works
Di Palomo fig and grape - because it smells divine

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 28/09/2014 21:42

Another vote for Aveda Hand Relief. If my hands are horribly dry though, Flexitol works better.

madmomma · 28/09/2014 21:43

Mid-priced/cheap ones, cos they I use them more often. Eucerin is good, as is vaseline intensive care. Aveda hand relief is gorgeous though. Best thing to do for anti-ageing purposes is put on them whatever you put on your face, plus then the handcream on top. Gloves in a bottle is brilliant too.

Philoslothy · 28/09/2014 21:58

Next time I am in the salon I am going to pick up some Aveda hand relief.

Botanicbaby · 29/09/2014 00:18

As PPs have mentioned, there are only two I would rate - Clarins Hand & Nail treatment or Body Shop Hemp.

Both equally fabulous.

coffeenut · 29/09/2014 01:19

i was a bodyshop hemp hand cream user for so long until i discovered LRP Cicaplast Mains. No fragrance and not greasy.

mabelbabel · 29/09/2014 09:51

Aveda here too. I generally don't use hand cream, unless I happen to have a tube of that on the go.

Explored · 29/09/2014 10:01

Don't laugh but my hands (and feet!) are vastly improved since I've been using Vicks to deal with my nasty feet.

Once I've rubbed it into my feet, I give my hands and cuticles a rub with it. Hands, nails and cuticles all much better. I suspect plain Vaseline would do much the same job.

During the day, I like the Body Shop Hemp one. (but it does smell of mud!)

Oly4 · 29/09/2014 14:59

Crabtree and Evelyn or loccitane

MaeMobley · 29/09/2014 19:12

I hate the Aveda Hand Relief one. Not greasy enough for me.

I have been using a Cowshed one which is ok. I may try Clarins.

polyhymnia · 29/09/2014 19:20

Clarins, definitely.

chuffinalong · 29/09/2014 20:54

Thanks everyone. Smile

L'Occitane. But I do also like Soap & Glory's Hand Food - does a good job and isn't anywhere like as expensive.

AlfAlf · 29/09/2014 21:01

L'Occitane, because it moisturises and softens very effectively but also absorbs in immediately, as if by magic.
