Boots & shoes for teeny feet

I love winter but I hate shoes. I hate shoes because I have such small feet that hardly fit in to any shoes. Summer is great as I live in flip flops. I only own one pair of heels and they have (read need) an ankle strap to stay on. For the last 5 years I have had Uggs or Emu boots but really want a change. Last year I had Ugg Kensington boots which were a good smarter version of what I had worn previously. Plus, it was the first time I liked having small feet as I saved £££ by buying the kids size. Now I need a change as my wardrobe is getting an overhaul as I'm worried I'm on my way to frumpy.

I've no idea what suits, whether I could pull off the ankle boot look but I do know I need warm feet. I like the look of the Ugg Seldon but then saw a picture of them on a model and they look bulky and slouchy round her ankle. I don't have any clothes for them to go with yet but enjoy wearing skinny jeans and dresses. Would like to try skirts but that's for a different thread. I tend to wear casual clothes (I like fat face) but I need to smarten up for work so it would be great if I could get away with wearing them for that too. It's a very casual office but I would like to look groomed and as though I have made an effort.

Should add I'm a shoe size 2 or a 3. Can get away with a 3 in boots. I'm 31 years old, size 6 and 5 foot.

For trying out cheap disposable fashion, New Look online apparently have 180+ styles in a size 2 and 600+ in a size 3 if I'm reading it right!

Clarks do a small selection in size 2 & 2.5. Otherwise you can get smart boots and ballerinas from Gap & Mango & Zara in the kids ranges and Boden's Johnnie B teenager range. They are also all good for small sized sandals for summer. Avoid square toes as they make small feet look like trotters. Current fashion is for pointed toes which is lucky.

Fly London do a childrens' range. I actually prefer a lot of them as the heels are lower and less clumpy than the womens' ones - unfortunately they're too small for me (size 4 or 4.5).

Should have added that its worth checking your EU size. In the UK some size 3 shoes are equivalent to EU 36 & some to EU 35. I can do EU 36 in boots with thick socks but need EU 34.5 for bare legs or shoes with tights. New Look size 2 is EU 35 according to their sizing guides.
