Just bought these beauties (well I like them!) so thought I'd share in case anyone was interested, loads of sizes left
These

Noooo!! I had done my winter boot shopping but just browsed their DMs and have now ordered a second pair of brown DMs

I love Docs and therefore own:

Mary Jane shoes with two inch block heels and two straps - red/Shiraz
Elena flat knee boots - red
Eight hole patent Clemency - er, red
2 x Cadence - tan + black
Eight hole patent brogue style two tone boots - silver/gold

I now have my beady eyes on a knee length pair of Violas.

After years of lusting after a pair of docs, I picked these up today www.drmartens.com/uk/Womens/Womens-Rugged/Dr-Martens-Aimilie-Shoe/p/15659651 and I think I'm in love-or certainly like them enough to be willing to suffer shredded heals for a few weeks!! And possibly the best bit........they look ok laced half way up so my cankles don't stop me having lovely new winter boots!

But I don't know if I actually love them or not The leather round the calf is very very soft and also generous in fit. In fact I think the 5 is too big all over so I'm going to exchange for a 4. If they're not perfect I'll send them back and keep looking for something else.

my 6s measure 16 inches round my 15.5 inch calf, so they're fine for the less slim of leg . I'm keeping mine.

Oh no Time! I'm a 4.5 so always wear 5 with boots. But my calf is 14.5 inches. Boots may be too big Will let you know when I get them x

I'm gutted in a way, because I wanted to love and adore them, especially at that price! But I don't. I am going to see what the 4 is like but I'm just not sure they're actually what I want.

Out of interest, my size 5 measure 15 inches round the top, an inch less than Leaping's 6's, so I'm hoping the 4 will measure about 14 inches. Anyone able to give a measurement for any of the other sizes yet? Actually the biggest problem for me is the section round the ankle, it's just far far too big on me. It's much better if I tighten the buckle there, but then it makes the leather fold and crease on the way up the calf and it just doesn't sit right.

I've ordered a pair of these and these to try on in Clarks, so if the DM's don't work for me, I'd rather put the money towards some ankle boots instead I think.

Time probably just as well I have cankles as well as chunky calves , I found mine ok at the ankle too (and could even do with a bit more to help with taking on and off to be honest)

Mine are here and they are far too loose on m calves. Sadly, they'll go back.

Mine arrived and joy of joys they actually fit and I only ordered a 5 because my usual size 6 was sold out!

I do agree that the calf leather is very soft but maybe this helps them fit my huge calves.

I'm a little bit tempted to dye them black but need to give that one some thought.

This is my worry, that they are going to be too loose on the calves & look like wellie boots.

Oh well, I await the delivery

They do look like wellies on me. And I didn't purchase the return ticket desk>
Another lesson learned.

I love them. They look great on and soooo comfortable. Yes they're loose around the calf but they have to be as there's no zip, it's a pull on boot. It's not welly like at all. A bit big on me but I am trying them on with no socks and I did have to go up half a size, the sole is wonderful under foot. Happy shopper here

I wore mine today and love them. Just wish they were a smidge bigger (I went down a size). But hopefully they will give a bit? It only needs to be a teeny bit...
