If you are a 'summer', can you wear green

And if so, what shade?

I haven't had my colours done professionally, so not sure which summer I am (maybe cool?). My favourite colours to wear are magenta and navy blue. I don't like myself in any pale colours, would never wear cream, white, camel, beige or greige. I just thought that perhaps I ought to look more at green, I like some greens, and I have green eyes.

For example, this in Persian Green?

that should read host, not hat!

If it helps, I have a couple of things from Boden in pewter, and I think they suit me as a cool Summer.

I was all excited about the possibility of adding a new colour or 2 in to my wardrobe, now it a case of 'what was I thinking!'
I normally have a good idea of what suits me, but I guess we all get stuck in a rut at some point. It also a case of finding clothes to fit, let alone in the right colour. I think I could probably do with a trip to Kingston, its easier when you see the clothes in the flesh than looking at colours online.
