I'm 33, size 12-14 with an ever increasing bum/thighs thanks to babies, tall, blonde ish and fair skinned. Also 5 months post birth. I have never really had a clue what suits me but comfort is key, as is breastfeeding access for the next 6 months probably (up/down is fine, I don't want more useless breastfeeding tops).

I seem to like texture (cord, soft things) and brands like white stuff and Seasalt are appealing to me. I can't even get skinny jeans on...

I've had a browse on pinterest but a bit overwhelmed by it all, just like I am in actual shops. Budget is mid range, maybe £500 for a few bits to improve my existing wardrobe.

Anyone care to work their sartorial magic? Grin pretty please?

Oh, and I just can't do heels. At all.

How about stretchy cords (skinny but not super-skinny, forgiving to the postpartum tum - NYDJ did good "legging jeans" ones last year), a few nice soft jersey tops. Good jacket or parka and ankle boots and a nice scarf eg one of the big Becksondergaard wool/silk mix ones.

Oh, and I know you didn't want any more BF tops but I lived in Boob Design breton stripe ones with skinny jeans when my boys were little. Looked like actual normal person clothes but really easy BF access.

I know I'm lucky daisy though to be honest I could have £5000 and still not know what to spend it on... Blush

Good ideas leedy , I do like the scarf look (something for the baby to grab other than me, too). What do you mean by soft jersey tops though? Any examples?

Something slightly (but not too) drapy in a soft jersey so it doesn't look too bulky and feels comfy. Some of the stuff here looks good:
