how much make up do you carry around with you?

On a day to day basis how much make up do you carry around with you, and how often do you do top ups during the day?

I have lip balms and maybe one lipstick/gloss in my handbag and may top up once a day.

what is "normal" to keep your look nice and on point, and what's too much to the point of overkill?

Concealer, bronzer, lipliner and lipstick/gloss.

Just lipstick here. Also cotton buds in case of mascara / eyeliner disaster.

For touch ups, lipstick, lip balm and a powder compact. If I've put make up on in the morning this is all I usually use.

For emergencies when I haven't put on any make up before leaving the house but need to put some on during the day - tiny containers (samples or decanted pots) of everything: tinted moisturiser, blusher, eyebrow pencil, eye pencil, mascara, concealer.

I do makeup on the train to work. If I am at home, no makeup unless there is an event, meeting or I go out. I never reapply, rarely remember lipgloss.
So, in my train makeup bag: cc cream, powder, eyeliner, maybe eyeshadow, mascara, couple neutral lipgloss.
In the winter I add a lip balm and hand cream to my handbag.

I've got a small make-up bag containing my "every day essentials" - concealer, corn silk loose powder (which is a bit bulky), instant pore perfector, mascara, blusher, eyeliner and lip gloss. This little bag goes everywhere with me. However if it's a "very small bag" occasion, then I take my Clinique Stay Perfector pressed powder compact (a nice looking compact that's good for an oily t-zone), eyeliner and lipgloss.

I touch up my make up at least once per day. Having oily skin is a nuisance.

Lip gloss but always forget to put it on, powder if I go out.

I carry
foundation stick for touch ups (BBrown)
A cream blusher stick (BBrown)
Lip crayons (NARS and Clinique Chubby sticks)
Eye shadow stick (By Terry)
Concealer (NARS)
Mascara
Simple eye make up remover pen thingy

It may seem like alot but because everything is in pen/stick/crayon formula it all fits in a tiny leather case.

I am just hunting for the perfect setting powder in pressed form that doesnt mattify, gives a glow, and does sit in wrinkles or clog pores. Anyt tips would be most welcome

Yes, same here (apart from my Corn Silk loose powder), I'm just wishing that was sold travel-size!!!!

I'd love to carry blusher but use powder blusher and find the little brushes that come with it useless.

I've tried cream blushers- Clinique and BBrown and didn't like either- get better result from an old lippie.

If i'm just popping out somewhere local or walking the dog I have concealer, lipstick and powder with me.
If i'm going out for the day i'll also bring eyeliner/eyeshadow with me incase I need to touch up my eye make up.

Chachah · 17/09/2014 15:13

None at all

flanjabelle · 17/09/2014 15:14

Nothing. I put it on in the morning and that's it.
