I use Ultrabland by Lush, it's a thick, oil based cleanser, and then dab it off with cotton wool soaked in their Eau Roma toner, which is really mild too. Most others that I've tried sting too much, including Simple.

Thanks for the tip. It's Simple I've been using recently that's now starting to sting like all the others I've used. Sad

My eyes are sensitive and I use Nivea eye makeup remover, it's blue and about £3. I've tried more expensive brands (hoping for miraculous wrinkle removal) clarins/Clinique/mac/Lancôme, but much prefer the Nivea.

I use body shop camomile but admittedly I dont wear makeup very often

Klorane do a chamomile one which is great for sensitive eyes. Or Vaseline is a good eye make up remover and kind to the eyes. Just smear on and take off with a damp cotton wool pad.

Liz Earle Eyebright (non oily)

I use Ultrabland too, comes off with a hot cloth if you don't want to use a toner. Also do you wear full eye make up or just mascara? If just mascara I'd recommend trying Dreamweave. Stays on forever, comes off with just water and doesn't give you panda eyes.

Tethersend (I think!) recommended an olay one. It's a cream and doesn't sting or make my eyes blurry

Body Shop cammomile.

I second using Liz Earle Eyebright. I have sensitive skin and eyes and this is a cooling, non-oily liquid that is really effective. Smells good too.

Not cheap at around £17 but incredible for sensitive eyes and there is a money back guarantee: Kiehl's Supremely Gentle Eye makeup Remover. It is a lotion type. You just put a blob on your eyes, gently massage in and rinse or remove with cotton wool dampened with warm water. Lasts forever, well about 12 months with daily use. You can get it at John Lewis stores or Kiehl's stores.

I find Avene micellar water more gentle and easy to use than anything else I've tried.

Thanks for the advice. I'll take a look tomorrow, when I'm heading to the shops. Thanks
