Hi I've been trying out samples of different natural/ organic facial moisturisers and some I find are like having a layer of glue or egg white on my skin - I think this is when there is too much starch and or thickeners in it. I've tried several now green people ok lavera tacky on my skin organic surge tacky

I'm running out of makes to try out and wonder if anyone can suggest any to try - I need to get some soon as my current ones are almost finished.

I've got dry sensitive skin and avoid too many perfumes or products on it
Ps some oils irritate my skin, so I don't do OCM. Also beeswax irritates too, so avoid anything with that in it :)

If you're determined to go organic, try pure rosehip oil. Otherwise I recommend Avene Skin Recovery or Kiehls Skin Rescuer. Both unscented, not insanely spendy, work absolute wonders on my dry and rather bad-tempered skin Grin

I use Balance Me Serum and it works well. Though I have combination skin.

I like Dr Organic's coconut oil and aloe vera ranges, don't use them all the time but do return to them now and again if my skin gets sensitive/irritated. For a while I used their aloe vera gel as a facial moisturiser, even under make-up.

I don't usually buy organic skincare, but tried a couple of Green Keratin products and was very impressed.

They're oddly cheap though and I haven't researched the contents thoroughly, so might not tick your boxes.

Agree with avene skin recovery cream - sometimes organic ranges are not the best for those with sensitive skin.

Take a look at Mu London. I love their lavender moisturiser and they last AGES.

flightywoman · 13/09/2014 14:45

A bit pot of moisturiser lasts me about 8 months, and it's about £15.

I have bought a few products from Pure Nuff Stuff, which I have liked a lot.

You can get product samples of their face and body creams. You can also request custom-made products.

LeoandBoosmum · 13/09/2014 18:51

Jurlique! Their moisture replenishing cream is my favourite product ever...so nourishing and kind to sensitive skin...smell beautiful too!

Fubsy · 13/09/2014 19:15

Neal's Yard? Some's quite pricey but they do ranges for different skin types. No good if you're sensitive to essential oils though.

Hippychickster · 13/09/2014 22:22

Try MooGoo. I love it! It's all natural - in fact you could eat all the products. No silicones etc in the shampoo and conditioner.

BecauseIsaidS0 · 13/09/2014 22:27

Dr Haushka (not sure I've spelt that right) is lovely.

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 13/09/2014 22:39

Antipodes stuff is lovely. No parabens, silicates, SLS, mineral oils, all organic, I believe.

There's a salon in W London which does facials using their stuff, I can find them if that's of any use?
