Stretch marks - any creams/oils or laser?

U have stretch marks on my belly which I doubt will ever go, but I also have lots of light stretch marks all over my thighs and behind my knees. Some behind the knees are turning into deep ones Confused

Are there any creams that actually work and improve the appearance of stretch marks?

Has anyone tried laser to remove them? If so how many sessions did you have?

Also the skin on my thighs seems so loose compared to the skin a little lower down any tips for firming it up?

I have started working out again and I am doing lots of squats and pole dancing (this is when I notice the loose skin a lot). After my pole class the stretch marks look all sore like as if they are sun burnt!

I have been using Biooil to prevent stretch marks in pregnancy and can honestly say it has helped the appearance if my existing marks on thighs and hips. Give it a try :)

do some reading on dermarollers too, they apparently have good results for stretch marks and are cheap enough on ebay etc

Thanks kitty - has it reduced the colour of them or has it improved the texture of the skin as well? My skin seems loose and ripply on my thighs :(

Old stretch marks so already faded but heard that it does reduce colour. Would say texture and appearance of skin is improved. (Although guess there has been wgt gain too!)

Peas I found derma rollers in eBay have you used them? Do they hurt? As it said they are little needles!

there's no evidence that bio oil does anything. The stretch marks would either go by themselves (they do on some people) or the massaging may help.

grab any cheap moisturiser you have, use cooking oil or just don't bother.

I've been using a .5 roller on my face but I wouldnt like to say for sure what the results are yet, I've only done it about 5 times. From what I've read you will need a longer needle like 1.5 for stretchmarks. It hurts a wee bit, but I'm willing to put up with it Wink

I would certainly try a dermaroller on them for a few months before getting the lazer. The lazer is still going to hurt.

I'm also thinking maybe a body brush might help, as I need to exfoliate and think it may improve the circulation!
