quality leather bag that will last

My dh is buying me a bag - lucky me - and I want good quality leather that will last. I've read on here that some designer bags are actually shit quality but I can't remember which. I am happy to spend a decent amount of money, up to £500, but don't want to waste it on a bag that is going to fall apart within a few years.

Can anyone recommend something in that price range. I am open to style, size and colour.

That Anya is gorgeous, a good choice as suitable for day and evening too. Only concern would be the pale colour possibly getting marks?

Yes, marks are a concern. Have seen on the website that darker colour combinations are available but to be honest it's the colours that really caught my eye. Perhaps I need to see the others in the flesh.

Usually these bags would be out of my league too hounds but we've had a good year so it's an extra special present and officially cotton this year, leather next so I'm taking that one in advance Grin

Can you get to Bicester Village to have a good rummage around there?
I always come out of the Mulberry shop with something or other.
They have loads of designer shops.
Definitely worth a look if you can get there.
Just up M40 from London.

I'm very south London so Bicester would be impossible during the week and a bit of a hike at weekends, not sure I fancy it esp as might come away with nothing. Oxford St seems lime enough of a trek these days Blush
