Hmmmm not sure about mint green, mind you am not sure about any colour really.

I have dark hair and dark eyes so am assuming green will be ok, but we'll see.

Ah sorry nutty it is Boots 17 "Green Glimmer". It is slightly iridescent, very vivid green colour and they are still selling it now. It's fab and v cheap.

On a side note, there are now loads of chocolate brown nail varnishes around. Do you remember the thread where we were looking for them and someone sent me one? You couldn't get one anywhere, and now there are plenty. We are just ahead of our time

Can I pass on a great suggestion the lady who did my recent make up lesson gave me about green eyeshadow? She said to buy a very neutral beige-ish type shade alongside the green then use that to tone down the 'green-ness' of the other, it really works and you can massively tone it down for day and less for night! Also, it looks amazing with plum coloured mascarra and eyeliner.....now that shouldn't really work, but it does!

nutcracker · 21/09/2006 22:01

See if it's cheap, I won't mind using it once and it sinking to the bottom of my make up bag.

nutty - MAC do a fantastic golden olive green in their loose pigment eye colour - it really is the most gorgeous colour. You can buy it cheap on Ebay - there is someone on there who sells little sample pots of it, but they last ages and are about a third of the price of a full pot.

expatinscotland · 21/09/2006 22:05

sunchowder just made me all homesick for Nordstrom . . .

puff · 21/09/2006 22:06

expatinscotland · 21/09/2006 22:06

It does rock, puff, especially for makeovers.

expatinscotland · 21/09/2006 22:08

Benefit also does an amazing green one.

puff · 21/09/2006 22:09

Dh got tons of clothes there when we were in the US and he never buys anything usually!

expatinscotland · 21/09/2006 22:10

I get most of my makeup from there and my parents or sister bring it when they come across.

crunchie · 21/09/2006 22:15

AnelaSunshine · 21/09/2006 22:33

Urban Decay, think it's called ExtraVert or something. £19 a pot but lasts forever (unless you do what I did, and drop it on a marble floor

colditz · 21/09/2006 22:34

Boots 17 do a gorgeous green, slightly shimmery, only about £4. I've got one, it's lovely and stays put quite well

colditz · 21/09/2006 22:34

It is a jadey green.
