Whilst I was looking for outfits for the other thread I just started look what I found on the M&S site!

I used to love M & S. I still look in there for basics, but they have seriously lost the plot.

I don't think they even know who their target market is.

mymummademelistentoshitmusic · 31/08/2014 22:10

Wow. Be ideal for a plumber into bdsm. Wouldn't have to change after work.

suze28 · 31/08/2014 23:51

My eyes, my eyes! All of it is mingerama. I dare not look at anymore of the links you are all posting.
I thought M&S was starting to sort out its styling.
clearly not

BigPawsBrown · 31/08/2014 23:55

H&M have navy blue overalls in at the moment. Long sleeves, full length leg, all in one. Hmm

snice · 01/09/2014 00:09

are cocoon coats a 'thing'? Or is it just code for a coat that doesn't fit

Bunbaker · 01/09/2014 00:21

That is hideous snice

boobyooby · 01/09/2014 00:23

What the eyes have seen, cannot be unseen!

Think there should be a prize for anyone that gets a real-life shot of somebody wearing them .... first prize = packet of wotsits Grin

thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter · 01/09/2014 00:30

Don't know why but those make me think Texas Chainsaw!

It's not going to be long til M&S can only be trusted to just sell undies.

Shia · 01/09/2014 10:43

Wtf?

I could possibly see Dawn Porter wearing this, but no one else. Ever.

Shia · 01/09/2014 10:46

Overpriced purple shit

Whenever I see the "Speziale" range I think "Speshul".

Hmm
MsAstronaut · 01/09/2014 10:55

Well I've enjoyed looking at all the horrors on this thread. And now I have hideous Per Una monstrosities popping up all over every web page I visit! Bah.

ElephantsNeverForgive · 01/09/2014 11:15

This is my current bug bear, I'd buy both colours if it wasn't for the Jewels. Which are even more bling and hideous in RL.
Just why

I've worn to death a similar green and navy Sainsbury's top, why have the jazzed up something so useful, especially as it's cotton Angry

ElephantsNeverForgive · 01/09/2014 11:58

The brown geometric object with leather edging is truly yuck!

Who on earth do marks think their market is?

Because of WI and other things I know a fair few 40-90 year old women with reasonable bank balances, non of them wear anything as over embellished and tasteless as these examples.

CalamitouslyWrong · 01/09/2014 11:59

I keep getting the dungarees advertised to me thanks to clicking on the link. I'm so hoping to see someone wearing them in real life. Women round here love a bit of pleather, so here's hoping.

Valsoldknickers · 01/09/2014 13:53

This thread has just reminded me why I only go into my local M&S to use their toilet!

EnlightenedOwl · 07/09/2014 20:34

I think we should all try the dungarees on and take a selfie to see if anyone can pull the look off. Except you really would have to sneak them into the changing room wouldn't you?

Emo76 · 07/09/2014 21:49

They are probably getting lots of clicks on the dungarees now and expecting them to be a best seller.

The "scratchy" dress hardly appeals simply by its definition

In fairness though I bet a lot of other stores have similar horrors.
