Autumn/winter outfits suitable for walking to work in all weathers

What are you all wearing on your walk to work? We have no dress code in the office so anything goes, but I need something comfy and dry on the feet (am happy to carry shoes to change into) and a decent coat. And what about the rest?
It would be good to look vaguely stylish by the time I arrive!

Depends on the length of the walk Smile

I am about to crack open my autumn wardrobe, so knee boots with leggings and a wool dress and a long coat, or trousers with calf boots usually does the trick.

I just wear whatever I'm going to be wearing at work, plus Converse or boots, and whatever jacket/coat seems right for the weather. I keep shoes at work to change into.

I have a 40 minute walk. If raining I tend to opt for jeans wellies work top and waterproof ski jacket. With work skirt/trousers in my bag. IMO there is nothing worse than arriving in wet clothes.

If dry then work outfit coat and trainers with shoes to change into.

It's a 40 min walk for me too. Just a coat and boots and I get soaked, and I don't want to be lugging spare clothes around. Maybe I just need a longer waterproof coat - hip length isn't keeping my legs dry enough!

ememem - do you find your wellies (heels/soles) wear down really quickly? Maybe it's just me!

Knee high boots and skirts/dresses is what I have worn previously, but still end up getting soaked. But my wardrobe at the moment seems to be lots of boyfriend cut trousers which look naff with anything vaguely waterproof on my feet. Confused

I wear DMs with thick socks and change into work shoes when I get to the office. If it's chucking it down, I'll wear jeans and take my work skirt & tights to change into, in a small backpack. I wear a knee length down coat when it's proper cold and I have thermal gloves, scarves, wooly hats etc. I'm not all that bothered what I look like on the walk as long as I'm warm and dry, and my transformation into work-appropriate takes 5 mins.
