I know they are banned in the EU but have heard good things about them and that they work.

My question so which ones are the best to try? There seem to be so many different ones.

You might get variation in whitening with a crown, ie the artificial material may respond differently to the whitening process compared with actual tooth enamel.

Yep they worked for me

Teeth hurt for hours after though

I use them all the time. Get them off eBay from a seller called Altered Alex.

My teeth are very white (even my dentist commented on it) BUT my gums are in a bad way and I get mouth ulcers.

Didn't work for me. My teeth looked nice a clean and shiny but they weren't really any whiter. No sensitivity issues tho.

Also op I do oil pulling which has definitely whitened mine further and it's way more gentle than bleaching them Grin

Yes they definitely work. The only ones used are Crest Whitestrips Supreme which are the professional strength (14% Hydrogen Peroxide) version. I brushed my teeth with Sensodyne for two weeks beforehand, during the whitening course and for about a week afterwards. The sensitivity I experienced was strong at times but probably nothing compared to how bad it would be without Sensodyne. I also took painkillers every now and then during the 3 week course. My teeth become very white and then over the course of a week afterwards, the shade stabilised into a less intense white and have remained bright since.
