What to wear when it's chucking down and neither cold nor warm?

It's going to tip down tomorrow. Do you all wear raincoats, or just dress normally and carry a brolly? Shoes? Is it too early for tights?

I have to pack and can't make my mind up what to take.

Trench coat?

I've been wearing a hooded khaki jacket. I also shove a small cagoule in my bag when out and about in London.

I've also had the ankle boots back out this last week. Either with bear legs (denim skirt) or with skinnys. I can't face the thought of opaques just yet.
I'm wearing 3/4 sleeve t-shirt tops or cotton shirts with the sleeves rolled.

Trainers. Jeans. Thin knit. Lightweight coat

Umbrella and shoes I don't care that much about. No raincoat.

You going Big London remus? I'm meeting a friend in town today and in having the same dilemma.

I had a trench / mac, never know the difference. I could probably do with a new one.

I've been wearing ankle boots and a Barbour. It hasn't been too hot for either, it's been cold here and I need the warmth.

I keep a Barbour hat in my bag.

Is anyone going to have bear legs with willies? Some great auto corrects in this thread.

The trouble with wearing bare legs & sandals is that the sandals never really recover whereas converse are never smart so don't suffer so much.
