Malory - those prices are better than the ones we got. Was that on the first day?
Fimbo - I thought you'd like those shoes. Am amazed at finding such a bargain so late in the day. And something that I had ben lusting after in the catalogue.

Inspired by said bargains, I went back at lunchtime today and bought a coral pink high waisted viscose dress with satin trim for £20 (~£80 in the catalogue?). All is forgiven! They also had the same dress in purple and turquoise but for me the coral pink just had the edge. Everything was in the right boxes and it was quiet and civilised. Plus, a lot of stuff had been marked down still further (but sadly no boots in my size, only wacky zebra print ones, and a disappointing selection of knitwear). Also, they have a no refunds policy at the sales, you can only exchange while the sale is on so you have to be prepared to brave the communal changing rooms. Would I go again? Yes, but probably towards the end as I don't think I could cope with the crowds!

There seems to be one here about every 2 years. The flyer came in the post, but sometimes there is an advert in the local paper as well. I think previously mn'rs have phoned Boden and they have given out details of where and when the next ones are to be. HTH

I didn't get an invite and I am a very regular customer. In fact, I am still a bit sniffy with Johnnie over this.
I think it's because although I live in Norfolk I actually have a Suffolk postcode. (I used to get invites though...)

FIMBOnABroomstick · 04/10/2006 14:33

Tsk Tsk, he obviously doesn't know his Geography. You will probably get an invite to one in Cambridge...........

Gemmasmummy · 04/10/2006 15:22

www.norwich1.com/st_andrew.htm tells you what is happening at St Andrews Hall month by month, you just have to check the site every so often. The Norwich sales usually happen in early October.

cupcakes · 04/10/2006 16:24

they sometimes have one at the Sufolk Showground near Ipswich. I'm just looking to see if they have a calender for next year.

cupcakes · 04/10/2006 16:26

hmmm... there's a 'Bowden' sale there next June.
alternative spelling?

SoMuchToBats · 04/10/2006 16:40

I used to get a postcard telling me about the Norwich sale (and went to one about 3 years ago) even though I live near Ipswich, but didn't get one this time.
