How high maintenance do you think this hairstyle is? Could I do it?

At the moment I have straight silky collarbone length hair that's coloured in the salon every 12 weeks & trimmed every 12 weeks.

I don't blow dry it, the only styling stuff I use is hairspray as I have a side fringe that tends to drop into my eyes & I have the option of leaving it loose or tying it up. Its really straight naturally without even a wave to add volume.

I wasn't really thinking of a change but when I saw this style I just fell in love with it. Honestly, how much work do you think it would take to make it look like this every morning? If I washed this hairstyle at night then could I make it work in the morning by curling the ends at the bottom & defining them?

Anyone?

Is it a choppy bob, is that what I should ask for?

Looks like it might take quite a lot of work, to be honest! It's been a while since I had short hair, but I remember it would always hang limp unless I did something to it. But that might just be my hair.

I think if your hair is totally straight and silky it would be quite difficult to get that texture at the bottom, she probably has a bit of a natural kink in her hair.

I think it would be fine..with a bit of products and layers chopped in..i dont think it would be that hard to style unless of course your hair is really curly. You could use straighteners to flip the ends.

My hair looks like that. It's very fine so needs gunk on it to keep the texture. I can't find any gunk though so the bottom looks a little 'not textury' (my brain's having a nap, there's a word for it). I don't need straightners for the ends, they usually flip up themselves a little and it's fairly easy to maintain.

You would prob need to blow dry to avoid mushroom look with the layers.

I don't think such a thing as a low maintenance style exists.
