Desperately seeking dresses with easy breastfeeding access

I am searching for dresses with easy access for breastfeeding but don't seem to be having much luck, so thought I'd tap into the collective power of mumsnet and see what we could discover.

I'm looking for Autumn / Winter dresses - knee length or maxi that I can wear and breast feed my daughter in.

I'm a size 14 and 5ft 3 in case that makes a difference.

Im getting pretty desperate as currently my wardrobe consists of two pairs of ill fitting jeans, three breastfeeding t shirts and two vest tops. Now its getting chiller, I am getting cold!

Hi raisin

I have bought a few dresses (including my wedding dress!) from Izzy's Mum in the past. The dresses have been lovely and the customer service was really good (I had to exchange a dress for a different size).

Any wrap top dresses work fine with a vest underneath. I find faux wrap better as it doesn't end up coming loose!

The Frugi birdie dresses on that link are nice - I bought one and think it will do quite well. Good quality too - my budget is low though so I can only afford their stuff on sale!

A lot of people don't bother with breastfeeding clothes, and just wear baggy stuff witha vest underneath that they can pull down, or wrap dresses etc. I do like the convenience of stuff like Frugi or Boob though - the key is to look out for bargains, occasionally on eBay (just check if buying Boob that it's a nursing top and not maternity or it won't have a boob flap!) or sale forums on Facebook or Natural Mamas or similar.

Thanks for the links. Most of the large sized dresses have sold out Hmm.

I agree wrap dresses (not specifically nursing) are great, and that was kind of what I was looking for links to - dresses that aren't marketed as feeding ones but could be used as nursing ones.
