SLS free shampoo - does your hair have to get used to it?

Hi, I recently started using a Dr Organic shampoo from Holland and Barratt as I have psoriasis on my scalp. The psoriasis is better after about 3 weeks of use, but my hair looks greasy even on the day I've washed it. Does my hair just need to get used to it,or am I using the wrong product? Any help gratefully received!

There are loads of different ones you can try - I've never had a problem with them making my hair greasy. I like Pureology and loreal does SLS free is worth a try too.

Im using mistry after reading someone on here raving about it, and its cheap at 3.49 a bottle. But my hair has been brilliant, really clean and not flyaway like many reported. My scalp was really dry and itchy and thats gone within a week. So, i dont think you need to get used to it. I used an aveda one before and it didnt lather so I found it hard to tell where i'd washed. But this mistry is excellent. Its available on amazon or here

Hmmmm, was afraid you'd say that! Thought it was just me not getting all my hair to start off with because of there not being any lather. Ill have to try another type Smile

I use John Masters Organics shampoo and conditioner as I have eczema on my scalp. It makes my hair feel absolutely lovely and I only need to wash it every other day.
