Neck creams

Anyone have any recommendations for improving neck tone and appearance? I'm a young looking 48, frequently told I look 10 years younger but am really conscious of my neck looking crepy and lined. It's not that I've neglected it over the years, I have been diligent moisturising face and neck but my neck hasn't fared as well as my face unfortunately.

TIA

Im exactly the same. Im 46 and i am constantly seeing my horrible neck. People always comment on me looking younger...but my neck is letting me down. I have crepiness like little vertical lines going down just around where my adams apple is. The best advice i have had is to use retinol based products.
I will look on to see if anyone posts!!

The Lulu Timebomb one is really good believe it or not.

It visible tightens and smooths the neck and jawline somehow, especially on that crepey crap.

Not heard of this one before but just checked it out and most reviews seem v positive.

I wondered if something like coconut oil (which seems to have a rep as a miracle product) works?

Would be interested to hear other suggestions too??

The Clarins one received really great reviews in the Beauty Bible.

I am a bit longer in the tooth than you, but so far not a crepe in sight.
I exfoliate regularly & use Clarins neck products.
Since last November I have also been using Clarisonic on face & neck. I have Rexaline face & eye creams & a mask cream that I leave on overnight ( on neck) which is really good for moisture, but not sure if this avaiable in the UK.

The clarinet one did nothing for my neck tbh. Strivectin, another supposedly good neck cream agitated my neck and did nothing. I have come to realise that it's a very individual thing and what may work for one person may not necessarily work for someone else. I have ordered the lulu one and will see how I get onSmile

clarins not clarinet lol

No product does anything, as you have proved with all that moisturising. I don't think I've ever moisturised my neck, I am a bit older than you and have a couple of lines.

it is called gravity, genes and ageing, and is how life is.

Well firstly, I really like coconut oil at the moment although it won't turn the clock back - nothing you can buy over the counter ever does. But secondly, if you're 48, your neck sounds perfectly normal to me! It sounds like the problem is that the rest of you is ageing well and your neck gives things away? I know that's annoying but I don't think there's much you can do about it, short of surgery.

I know...and i have accepted things more but would quite like to make it look a bit better!!! Tbh, the way i deal with it is, try not to focus on that one aspect and see the whole picture...which im ok with [ well could do with losing a few pounds but in all im ok]

Floisme · 17/08/2014 19:59

I'm sure most people just see the whole picture too and never even notice your neck. At least that's what I keep telling myself about my jowls Grin
