Where oh where can I find a tshirt bra without horrid thick padded material??

Seems like I'm spending hours and hours looking for this. I want a nude tshirt bra, therefore smooth with no seems or lace. It's to wear under silky white tops which any pattern will sho? through. All I can find are very moulded bras which are very thick, and the material at the top of the breast causes a ridge which shows under clothes. I don't understand why I can have loads of coloured bras that don't have this thickness of material, but no one seems to make one in nude and plain. I've tried marks and spencer (shudder) and John Lewis, but to no avail. Ideally a balconette is my best shape. I have one from john Lewis which is a bit thick but better than most, but it's a full cup and completely squashes my breasts to my body. Please help!

Try triumph supersoft t shirt bras

Not balconette but very comfy

The fantasie rebecca is a bit thinner than most of the typical t shirt bras, but it is an inherent problem that not having seams kind of necessitates moulding. You occasionally get ones that don't but they are normally only available in small sizes, as in bigger cups having no seams and no moulding would be a bit like wearing a random scrap of fabric over your boobs Grin

I'm not the only one waiting for the nude Marcie huh Sorrel?

I just got this:
www.victoriassecret.com/bras/demi-cup/unlined-demi-bra-fabulous-by-victorias-secret?ProductID=205145&CatalogueType=OLS

Victoria's Secret unlined demi bra in a style called Fabulous. Can't find a uk link but I got it £10 off (so, £30) in-store in Westfield Stratford. It is incredibly flattering and it feels wonderfully soft. Bliss!

I actually want to marry it I love it so much.

Gossard glossies. So comfortable too

TomatoSorbetWoman · 15/08/2014 07:53

I have an esme too

cressetmama · 15/08/2014 10:51

The best I've ever found (now wear almost nothing else) is the Chantelle Hedona style. Comes only in black, ivory and nude, all sizes available and only the tiniest scrap of trim on the top of the cup. It's not a balconette though. Both my local proper underwear shops re-stock it every season because it is extremely comfortable, completely unpadded and gives a very natural pretty shape and good support up to quite large sizes without looking hideously orthopaedic!

lurkingaround · 15/08/2014 10:53

I have the Rebecca one, don't like it, shape not great. I also have the Panache Pocelain, shape not great on me. Cleos don't do it for me either. The Esme isn't great on me either. (Are you sensing a theme here).
I do have a Debenhams one, I know, who'd think it, and it's the best I've tried. It doesn't last v long but shape is good and Eventho it's moulded it's invisible under tees. Except when I wear a cross body bag and a thin tee. And then the kids announce you can see my bra. In the airport with half the population looking over to see this woman's bra. Yes. Anyway this is it.

I like the look of the Gossard one.
Yes, a good bra is like the holy grail. Its probably quite individual tho, shape, size, firmness (or lack) etc etc.

Thanks everyone, some great ideas, I can see I'm going to be quite busy trying bras on for a while!

Debenhams

ThisBitchIsResting · 15/08/2014 16:05

Calvin Klein ones are lovely, it's all I wear (30D)

PinkSparklyElephant · 15/08/2014 16:54

The Rebecca is the most comfortable bra I've ever worn but unfortunately the shape is all wrong - my boobs ended up under my armpits! I love the Juna but it gives me a square shape so I'm trying the Bravissimo Satine, which unfortunately has seams but other than that it seems quite promising.

lurkingaround · 15/08/2014 19:19

I tried the Satine last year. Bear in mind I have 'soft' (oh god, cringe), bottom heavy booms. 'Twasn't great, boobs fell into the middle, uniboob-like.

lurkingaround · 15/08/2014 19:20

Bottom heavy booms??? Mother of mercy. You all know I mean boobs.

Littlemoocow · 16/08/2014 12:34

Update. The cleo juna arrived this morning (vey quick service from figleaves) in 3 sizes. While it has seams so isn't entirely invisible under a very thin top, I'm keeping it because it fits perfectly and is perfect under white tshirts etc. the lace bit at the top, rather than showing through my tops, rather means that the moulded / padded bit is slightly lower than on some bras so there is no visible ridge through clothes at the top which I hate. And it doesn't gape when I put my shoulders forward. Excellent. Thanks for all your advice.

Prima Donna satin are my basics. Nude, white and black.
