BEST treatment for clapped-out over-dyed hair, please?

Hello stylish beauties. I am in desperate need of a treatment for my repeatedly dyed hair (I succumbed to the ombre phase a few years ago and that's still growing out; I do root touchups every 4-6 weeks now to cover my greys).

I don't have toooo much cash to splash which is why I would like recommendations - if something does turn out to actually work but costs £££ then I guess that's just tough and I'll cough up the money. I have a wedding at the end of the month and I'm going to be a bridesmaid... don't want a bird's nest in the pictures.

Thanks in advance!

Virgin Olive oil works very well for me.

I put it on my hair at bedtime once a week, leave it overnight, then wash and condition as normal in the morning. I also condition it every time I wash it....using Pantene shampoo and conditioner for dry hair too.

My hair is dyed approx every 2-3 weeks as it grows so fast , and in following this regime it is very silky to the touch.

L'oreal Fibrology treatment is pretty good and does leave your hair rather texture and bouncy. I would never really trust anything other than Redken before this, but I love this one!!

100% argan oil left on as a treatment over-night? Works on mine but I think it's a bit ££, have also bought some coconut oil which i'm gonna try plus I can use it as a serum on dd2's crazy curls.

K-Pak is the mutts nuts. I have bleach damaged hair and anything with protein is the key, so coconut oil is great (you can use olive oil but coconut is better as it's colourless, olive oil can leave hair a bit yellowed) I use K-Pak shampoo and conditioner, and a weekly treatment with either Kerastase Masquintense (a bit ££ although cheaper in big pots online - but v good for protein-hungry hair) or coconut oil. Be wary of silicones, don't necessarily cut out altogether as they add shine and protect, useful for styling , but they can cause damage by preventing hair from absorbing moisture from oil and proteins.
