Natural and easy self tan for total novice

I am off on holiday at the weekend. I would like a fake tan before I go, to help camouflage the lumps and bumps, take the edge off the milky whiteness for the first week or so of holiday. I do tan well once I get going.

I am a time poor novice who has always steered clear of self tan for fear of streaks and blotches.

Grateful for recommendations please.

I've tried so many but the best I've used is decleor self tanning milk, in the pink bottle not the yellow bottle one which is called gradual glow.

Feel Unique sell is for £20 which is cheaper than I can get it elsewhere.

It's the only tan I've used that does not streak, ever!

If you start today you can use Garnier Summer body.
It's a gradual tan so if you do it every day you'll have a lovely colour by the time you go away at the weekend.
It's just like putting on moisturiser.
Make you do it evenly all over.

Thank you both. I didn't manage to shop today but will pick up something tomorrow.

Dotty is the Decleor a gradual tan?

I love the St Tropez gradual tan.

No it's not a gradual tan, it develops well overnight but you really cannot go wrong.

I found the decleor in the yellow bottle, the gradual tan, did go streaky!

An update. I've used the Decleor tanning milk as recommended. Really easy to use, no streaks. Legs still paler than arms and face so may give another coat. (I probably should have left arms and face alone as had a bit of colour but it was so much like applying body cream that I kind of didn't realise until it was too late.) Thanks very much for your help.

i have found 2 really excellent self tans for differing budgets.
cheapo - st morritz - about £3 and better than st tropez at 5x the price. streak free, natural colour.

pricey - sienna X - gorgeous easy streak free colour. nice for special occasions.

tried loads of others with not so great results - i am dark haired, dark eyed but very pale skinned which burns easily in the sun and freckles.
hth!
