Strapless bra that is not underwired?

I'm an A cup and really don't need any extra scaffolding! I have a strapless bra that is underwired, but after only a few minutes it is so uncomfortable that I can't wait to take it off. The main problem is the area where the two wires meet in the centre of my ribcage, which is too bony for comfort. Can I take the wires out or will that wreck it?

would something like this work if you aren't looking for wires/uplift?

i second the bandeau bra

It is clear from some of the negative reviews on the M & S website that these women would have benefited from a bra intervention. Maybe they would have got the correct size and been less dissatisfied.

I got stretchy bandeau off t'internet, cheap as chips and they stayed in place (I'm a 'c' cup)

are you sure you're really an A-cup? If you've been fitted my M&S then underwired bras are probably so uncomfortable because you're in the wrong size. Have you seen the bra intervention threads here?

Wonderbra Ultimate could work, it does not have those sharp long wires to rub against breastbone.

Thanks, I've ordered the M&S one to pick up on Friday as I go away on Sat so last chance!

hazle there's no way I'm bigger than an A cup, there's very little there!

The wonder bra strapless are excellent. No wires, just a kind of plastic that doesn't cut in.

My worry with a bandeau would be the lack of shape - even with an A cup.

gymboywalton · 06/08/2014 16:25

if you are a true a cup then you won't need a bra
the fact that you need a bra suggests that you are not in fact an a cup

postmanpatscat · 06/08/2014 16:31

I don't need a bra to support them really, I just want my nipples covered and for my strappy summer dresses not to fall open and expose my bust. It's about decency!!

Peacocks usually do a pull on bandeau style one that works well if you're smaller busted.

postmanpatscat An 'A' cup means that you measure 1" bigger around the fullest part of your chest compared to under your bust.

Have you measured following this guide?
