My best money saving rather than cheap (though it saves in the long run) is buy a bottle of Aveda Shampure . DH and I find a bottle lasts us a year ( one litre)

My DD buys a million bottles of Aussie and my bathroom is full of bottles in various states of use.

Sleek Cosmetics - I have 2 pallettes (eyes- 10 or 12 xcolours in each IIRC) and 2 lip (4 colours in each) and a blusher. Good quality, bargain price , (blighter to open though)

Drink water. Lots.

Muslin cloth and a creamy cleanser ( Superdrugs or Good Things Manuka honey) you can remove your eye make-up, cleanse and it exfoliates at the same time.

My brand new love (£12) Body Shop Vit E Aqua Sorbet. Lovely

I use Johnsons baby lotion for makeup remover - and it doubles as a facial moisturiser at the same time.

Also have bought my own eyelash and eyebrow dye. I can now dye them when I choose and the cost of one tube which lasts months and months is the cost of one appointment!

Boots Botanics - really impressed with their calming night cream and organic day cream. Amazing light soft texture, they are lovely to use.

Sudocrem - have been applying to vile spots that I have been picking and it really reduces the redness without producing more - I am a convert!

A Derma Epitheliale repair cream from a respected pharmacy brand that's cheap and I use as eye / lip cream.

Must now go and apply most of these things! Grin

The superdrug MUA brand is insanely cheap - they do lots of stuff that's not that great, but the eyeshadow palettes are really good, I have the nude one in the black box and use it nearly everyday. Also their brow kit is pretty decent, and it's good for fun things like glitter eyeliner and bright lip colours you might not wear loads.
I always check pound land for nail varnish and occasionally other make up in the individual plastic packages, again plenty of crap to sift through, but they regularly have OPI, Sally Hansen, or Revlon polishes in my local one.

Nivea soft - best moisturiser around and cheap as chips!

Olive oil as a make-up remover/cleanser, especially for when skin feels super sensitive.

I occasionally mix a bit of bicarbonate of soda into my shampoo which is great in place of expensive clarifying shampoos - after doing this my hair has generated quite a lot of comments at work the next day, yet nobody believes that is the reason it looks so nice or are willing to try it themselves! Disclaimer: my hair is dark brown, not sure if this would work differently on blonder/ highlighted hair etc?!

Aspirin face masks - possibly the cheapest of the cheap?!

Primark lipstick is surprisingly good.
