Products for Rosacea - I know it's been done before.....

I developed Rosacea just over a year ago.

It has improved but it's worse at the moment.
When it's bad it is spotty and bright red.

Using Clearasil Skin Perfecting Wash combined with Guinot Red Logic I have managed to keep it under control for a year but my formerly pale cheeks remain flushed even in a controlled state.

I've tried Tea Tree products, these make it very angry.
Which makes me think it isn't the kind of Rosacea that is caused by bugs.

Rosehip oil also makes it red and angry.

Red Logic is expensive and doesn't eradicate it completely.

Does anyone have any other ideas?
And/or any ideas about the cause?

TIA

I used it almost every night for my first bottle, which really cleared my skin (have/had issues with acne and congestion). Now on second bottle, the more regularly I use it the better/clearer/less red my skin is but its too harsh to use every night in winter (I am in oz).

I bought first bottle online from strawberrynet, second bottle from an online aus retailer.

How do you take off makeup (mineral) and sunscreen (tinted) without irritating rosacea?

I currently use aveeno ultra calming gel and micellar water. Just wondering if there's a better gentle cleanser effective enough. I'm hoping to stop using micellar since it needs me to swipe my skin with cotton or cloth and this irritates my rosacea

I have rosacea.

Last time I had a flare up I was breastfeeding, so I just had azaleic acid. Did nothing for me. Then finished breastfeeding and had a course of antibiotics. I don't like doing that, but this was an awful flare up and I was worried about leaving it untreated.

Antibiotics cleared it up and since then I've discovered The Ordinary which have really worked for me.

Also, avoiding stress, no hormonal contraception and no red wine.

I've been more or less rosacea free for nearly a year now.

I hardly ever wear makeup, but I use a La Riche Posay gel makeup remover when I do.

This is a zombie thread.
Try soolantra, it will help!
I don’t sell soolantra by the way!

I didn't notice this thread originally! But I gave up eating the 'deadly nightshade' vegetables and my rosacea disappeared .! Everyone is different of course but it cured my arthritis too, so well worth a go.

I use organic rosewater as a toner which has helped the wrinkles too. Also the Baby Weleda products which are lovely and gentle , the Zinc one stops any brown spots too.
