32G bras with posture support and wide straps - does such a thing exist?

I have big boobs and a very bad back, so the combination of added support, wide straps and slight minimiser action would be perfect.

I've found this site - leonisa.com - with the exact bra I need but they only seem to go down to 34 back size, and having googled endlessly I can only find the usual thin strapped varieties in my size, that I know won't provide me with any relief.

Please help!

I'm a similar size (32GG) and I find Bravissimo bras very comfortable. They have a few shops (if you're in the UK) or you can order on their website.

Sorry, meant to say comfortable AND supportive.

I used to always buy from them, but they're not great for wider straps and they don't do any posture support stuff at all Sad

Any other successful finds?

No advice but bumping this for you in case any of the bra gurus are watching Grin

have you tried Freya longline bras? Straps are not very wide, but the long part real takes a weight off your back, literally.

Furball · 20/07/2014 16:52

Have you measured yourself - as per the MN bra gurus guide?

The straps should not be doing any of the work of the bra -it should be the band

I am in no way a bra guru - but I'm sure someone will be along soon to help you Smile

A bra guru is definitely what I need. The issue is that everything about the bra must be wide - I have thoracic outlet syndrome, so even slight load on the shoulders needs to be spread. I'm currently wearing a Freya Active sports bra, but it looks hideous and still has fairly narrow straps that can irritate my problem, even if not load-bearing Confused

this lightweight bra is the most comfortable bra I've ever owned. Give it a whirl!

Out of interest have you ever tried a 30GG instead of a 32G? The reason I ask is that in quite a few brands (Freya, Fantasie, Bravissimo own brand and I think Curvy Kate) GG is the boundary where the styles changes. Freya for example actually makes two versions of its balcony types, with those below G having narrower straps, more of a plunge front and two hooks at the back. Going up to a GG gets 3 hooks at the back and thicker straps which might help

Longline bras might help too - I have one from Curvy Kate (called Carmen) which I think if I remember correctly fastens with at least 6 hooks so the band is pretty substantial.

As a totally different option, have you ever tried anything strapless but more like a basque?

You might have tried these already, but just a few thoughts to get us started!
