Sort of S&B related - having a bit of an image body crisis after baby and still breastfeeding.

I'm 14 months post partum, and still breastfeeding DD2 (in evenings and mornings). Now I'm a size 10 but not the same size 10 I was before DD2 and wondering whether I should be putting myself on a diet, or buying different clothes. I love my skinny jeans (i'm 44 btw but don't care) but when I catch my backside in the mirror of changing rooms I wonder if I should really be 'covering up' more. My bum and tops of my legs are really flabby and this is despite exercising 5 times a week (I love exercise for my head not my body) and I'm wondering if I'm holding on to extra weight because I'm still breastfeeding. I eat a reasonable amount of food, probably more than I used to (but I used to be 9 stone and am now 10 stone) Or should I accept the extra weight (i'm fit and healthy) and buy different clothes. If I lose weight I'm worried I will look old and have scraggy arms.

I'm just thinking though. I do Tabata training, with lots of squats, Spinning running and yoga every week. This is why I wondered about the breastfeeding. I don't drink enough water and really force myself to exercise some days. Anyway looking for advice on the skinnies!

I am a very similar age to you and do lots of exercise too! I really doesn't sound like you need to lose weight (although not sure how tall you are?) a couple of things that have made a difference for me in terms of body shape are callentics (I pooh poohed initially as not hard enough but it does work- you can get a book or DVD from Amazon.) Also circuits involving weights. I can't get to a gym so have a range of stuff i do at home.

If you carry weight a little on your bottom and thighs then I have found Diesel skinnies to be amazing. Not the cheapest out there but incredibly flattering. They have a cut called Skinzee that is v flattering.
