Knickers that don't ride up my bum

Have lost a fair bit of weight recently so have knickers ranging from sz 12-20 but none are really comfortable. I also could do with some that hold me in slightly as my skin has some toning left to do.

Any ideas for a pair of pants that will stay put!?!

sorry, didn't see your question fourarms. In case you haven't chosen your knickers yet, yes you can get the GAP ones in UK. Not sure how to do links but it is this type.

I think the key thing that stops ride-up is the boy -cut leg, but agree that different body types need different knicker styles!

On Sloggi, surely one of their main selling points is that they're pure cotton.

I have a full round bottom, big thighs and a defined waist. The best pants for me have a low elasticated leg as this keeps my bottom covered. I also buy the size that my waist would suggest so that the fit is a little snug.

Spookyskeleton love those M&S knickers too. They are so comfortable!

Fourarmsv2 congrats on the weightloss. If I were you (finances permitting) I would do a clear out and start with a couple of multipacks as described above, and a special shapewear pair for occasional use.

SuckingEggs · 01/11/2015 10:55

tight, hmm, sounds like torture!

SuckingEggs · 01/11/2015 10:56

Op, M&S high legs with lace waistbands are really good

TondelayaDellaVentamiglia · 01/11/2015 10:56

Tesco have some really nice ones...boy shorts I call them, they are usually black but they sometimes get a bit giddy and do two packs with colours in

these ones but I've never seen the aqua ones.

be sure not to buy the "seam free" control ones....that have a seam at the front and back of the gusset and one around the hips where they joined the waistband on..it infuriates me every time I see them.

Marmaladybird · 01/11/2015 12:31

Short style. La Senza, Gap and M&S are all the most comfy ones for me (I have a big bum) :)

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 01/11/2015 12:43

M&S midi pant for me, I'm a pear shape.

They are the only pants I've worn in years that don't go up my arse. You do get a Vpl but I don't care, I feel liberated by not having pants up my arse!

I previously wore no Vpl ones from M&S but they all wander, whatever size I bought.

trapdooragain · 01/11/2015 12:52

i lost my rag with my pants went to the loo and ripped them off much more comfy!

but if i have to wear them i go for the boyshorts they have started to do them higher waisted these days but you might prefer that?

Branleuse · 01/11/2015 12:58

it completely depends on the shape of your body as to which knickers will fit you best. You need to test various styles. Do not be afraid of big pants

SinglePringle · 01/11/2015 13:03

Thongs every day. Can't feel them. Big knickers are so uncomfortable.

squoosh · 01/11/2015 13:07

I love the comforting hug of big knickers. Thongs feel like they're gnawing away at my bum crack.

SuckingEggs · 01/11/2015 15:18

Bum floss, ugh.

SinglePringle · 01/11/2015 15:23

Hate the feel of knickers - they're so there! Genuinely can't feel a thong.
