The last one was brilliant, and I want to steal some ideas!

Me -

Pub and a meal
Will probably wear - pale wash skinnies, heeled black sandals, new t-shirt, jacket
Just need to decide what colour to paint my toenails!

Anybody else?

Off to a blues gig wearing black skinnies, black high heeled boots and this top:

www.cosstores.com/it/Shop/Women/Sale/Tops/Silk_sleeve_top/7060452-14919588.1#c-24479

Probably a little shiny for a grungy dive but i don't get out often!!

butterfliesinmytummy · 12/07/2014 19:14

Arrived in the uk today so not out tonight. Wearing sequined grey Anthropologie sweatshirt, blue rolled up chinos from Gap and Sam Edelman Hanson trainers in snakeskin with a neon strip. About to change into pjs as seriously jet lagged......

CointreauVersial · 12/07/2014 19:15

I'm just a mum-taxi tonight, dropping DS at a party. Currently wearing purply-blue Boden chino shorts and a white cotton sleeveless ruffle top after a day lounging in the garden. I really fancy the opportunity to dress up.

BikeRunSki · 12/07/2014 19:21

I have just cycled from York to Bridlington with some friends. We're off for fish and chips by the sea.
I'm wearing walking trousers and a black merino base layer and Birkies because they are light and multifunctional if the weather turns tomorrow.

newnameforanewstart · 12/07/2014 20:31

Work [sob] not really I love my job most of the time! But Saturday nights are never good!

Tonight I am ALREADY wearing

Shirt which is wear slightly un buttoned to allow for easy of movement

With a pink vest underneath it

Tucked in these navy trousers

With these Shoes yes not exactly wow but will walk miles in them tonight and oh so comfortable

I have this with me for later Navy Cardigan because I will no doubt need to layer up at some point

And this with me Just in case along with a sort of light dusky subdued pink scarf.

My pink metal rimmed glasses they are UNDERSTATED I promise and a funky stethoscope so if you happen to pop into your local hospital and see me give me the MN wave - Don´t take this wrong way but I really hope no one does tonight!

Have a wonderful evening everyone.

Hush 'Lisa' dress in pale grey-blue.

Bought for £5 in their sample sale earlier this year Smile

With black sparkly flat sandals from Primark and a black crossbody saddle bag by Marc by Marc Jacobs.

I was at the shops earlier having a wander - bought a nice drapey pale grey and white oversized too big fine stripe knit from M and S for the princely sum of £12. Planted firmly on sofa now.

Lovage · 12/07/2014 22:10

I was singing in a concert with my choir, so wearing floor-length black satin skirt (bought from a charity shop 25ish years ago, seen me through two singing pregnancies, thanks to amazing elasticated waist) and dressy black sleeveless top (?Coast - another charity shop purchase anyway) + shiny necklace and earrings (M&S).

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 12/07/2014 22:27

Hope everybody has had a nice time. We managed to miss the rain -there was just one shower whilst we were in the second pub, and now home and stuffed full of curry. I am completely in love with my new t-shirt and a woman stopped me in the street to admire my (v boring, Clarks) sandals!

I want to know what you ended up wearing to the barn dance, Gretchen. :)

Remus, just realised we were wearing the same jacket. You have great taste!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 12/07/2014 22:36

:) I changed my mind in the end and wore a grey one instead, as the black one is so thick and I was too hot. The grey one is virtually identical but stolen from dd1 - probably H&M or Primark or somesuch.

That was a 5.

So, I'm sat in with dc alseep, just like a couple of week agowhen it was my b'day and his friends 40th, and his friend, same group, was having a bbq, soi stayed in for my b'day while dh went outfor his friends.

I am wearing jim jams and a face like this >> Angry

Gillybobs · 12/07/2014 22:42

I was not too hot. I live in Scotland.... Grin

Greengardenpixie · 12/07/2014 22:43

I feel really hot and i live in Scotland!!!...but then it may be age related although it is clammy

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 12/07/2014 22:43

Grin Birmingham has been positively continental today!

GretchenWiener · 12/07/2014 22:52

Wore grey skinnies boots and black top. Stupid stratemejy necklace. Hot. Hated necklace

Gillybobs · 12/07/2014 22:53

Greengarden in fairness it has been glorious here for weeks but today was miserable and peeing down

GretchenWiener · 12/07/2014 22:53

Tell of sandals Remus.

Wish I'd worn usual gear. Barn wasn't so rustic

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 12/07/2014 22:56

Oh you wouldn't like the sandals at all here - and they are bloody uncomfortable too, for saying they are basically Clarks old woman shoes.

I'm wearing a 'statement' necklace too - it's itchy.

OP posts:
Greengardenpixie · 12/07/2014 23:27

Gilly, yes it has been exactly the same for me. Pouring rain today after days and days of beautiful weather. I am from just outside glasgow.

GretchenWiener · 13/07/2014 04:54

Boo to statement necklaces. This one smelled funny too. Will put on eBay

noddyholder · 13/07/2014 07:51

I hate statement jewellery full stop apart from cocktail type rings.

GretchenWiener · 13/07/2014 07:52

Yup. Me too. Ive started a thread

noddyholder · 13/07/2014 07:54

Haha I will stay off it. Have never liked it but I don't like over accessorised anything. Too many bits hanging off people the last few years looks messy and cheap

Dontgotosleep · 13/07/2014 11:56

Going to town, will be wearing a white dress from simply be and a black cardi because I hate showing my arms off. Wearing tourqouise hair clip, and tuorqoise nail varnish and tourqoiuse bag.

lurkingaround · 13/07/2014 13:22

At swimming avec les enfants. Gap khakis, Zara white quite fitted t-shirt, light grey knitted cardi-blazer thing with a neon trim. Grey Cos belt. A watch. These sandals that my friend loathes and I love.
