What do you all think of this swimsuit?

Here? I braved the rain and head out to see if I could find anything I liked today but it was mostly sale leftovers. I love the shape and think the print could work well - it's my first time back in a swimsuit after becoming a first time mum! I'm thinking of ordering this and giving it a go - What are your thoughts?

I think it's very nice but very expensive.
I think it's more a fashion piece than being comfy for sunbathing or relaxing in the heat.

Also not much support for the boobs (important to me but maybe not to you)

Jumblebee · 11/07/2014 13:47

I think it's nice (especially if you have the same figure as the model) but then I saw the price Confused

Over £80?! I think my swimsuit was a tenner!

Showy · 11/07/2014 13:50

I think at £83 I'd want a cossie which could contain my breasts adequately. That would not.

susanjones123 · 11/07/2014 13:53

Hmmm, I think it says mixed things to be honest.

The neckline and side boob bit screan 'slim young woman with really toned shoulders and upper arms showing off the assets she's worked hard for'
On the other hand, the pattern to me screams 'fat woman trying to minimise her size with weird patterns'.

I don't think the shape and the pattern go together at all.

Also, £80 for a swimming costume Shock

83 - Wowzers.
It's lovely though.

Walnut8 · 11/07/2014 14:07

£80 isn't a lot for a decent quality swimsuit is it? I've paid far more to get good quality lycra etc. And since when is chevron a "weird" pattern?! Seafolly is a great brand and will be quality - it shouldn't go saggy or lose its shape in the wash.

In any case, I really like it, however it wouldn't suit me at all (mainly because I have DD boobs and broad shoulders so avoid this style at all costs).

Bunbaker · 11/07/2014 14:16

"£80 isn't a lot for a decent quality swimsuit is it?"

Oh yes it is.

My last couple of pieces of swimwear have been from Debenhams and have been excellent quality and nowhere near that price.

I think the swimsuit looks more of a fashion item rather than a practical swimsuit, and wouldn't work for anyone needing boob support. I don't like the high neckline either.

SarahGoodwin33 · 11/07/2014 15:29

It's lovely and if you think it will suit you go for it. Don't write off the high street, lots of lovely swimwear and I know that cos I'm busy shopping for some. More of a two piece girl though

LaCerbiatta · 11/07/2014 16:07

But you would have a white chest that would show with any low neck top. Would be a no for me for that reason.

ShakeYourTailFeathers · 11/07/2014 17:58

would give you a really dodgy tan...

cardamomginger · 11/07/2014 20:27

I love it! Would look awful on me as I am the wrong shape for it, but if you are the right shape, go for it.

VerityWaves · 11/07/2014 20:34

I think it's beautiful , right up my street.

polyhymnia · 11/07/2014 20:47

Don't know if it'll suit you but do know Sea Folly are a quality brand so should wear well.

hamptoncourt · 11/07/2014 21:11

I couldn't wear it as I have boobs but if you are flat chested and are not going for a tan (would give weird tan lines) then it is very pretty.
