Face powder in Duty Free - which should I buy?

I would like to treat myself to a powder compact in Duty Free when I go on a work trip tomorrow. Can any of you ladies recommend a good luxury brand for face powder? (I am white with very pale skin). Thank you!

The Chanel Les Beiges one is amazing, build able coverage and a lovely finish. I bought it after resding India Night's recommendation and I'm really happy with it.

It looks gorgeous DarkBlueEyes, definitely at the (ahem) top of my budget range though! I will see how much it is going for in Duty Free.

Just one question - when I had a look online, it sounded like it was a kind of foundation/powder combination. I tried one of these before (Clinique) and it was a bit heavy and noticeable. (I really am very, very pale!!) Might this one be similar?

Clinique anti redness powder. Lovely, light and truly translucent.

Any Chanel pressed or loose powder is excellent, if les beiges too £££££
I wish I could afford some more!

I have the Chanel loose powder in natural and am very pale.
I am a convert from compacts (though have never tried the Chanel ones) as it is so light and doesn't collect in creases and wrinkles.

I don't know if you consider Mac a luxury brand, but their Mineralize Skinfinish powders are lovely. They have just changed the packaging so it now has a mirror inside which is nice.
Their Select Sheer Pressed powder is nice too.

Guerlain could be an option too, but I don't remember how expensive they are.

It may be a bit late but I just bought an Estee Lauder one - very nice, light finish, you can barely see it, and was around £20.

So, I went to Duty Free this morning and looked at the Les Beiges. The sales assistant even helped me chose - I had chosen one that was actually too light, she recommended the next darkest one in the range - but when she went to get it, they had none in stock!! So disappointing! I chose a Clinique one in the end - not anti-redness though as I don't suffer from redness. (I didn't see your recommendation Stokey).

Ah well, next time!

Hope you're happy with your Clinique one, what a bummer! FTR I don't find it heavy at all. X
