Factor 50 face cream that's not 'just' sun cream??

I want to start using a high factor cream on my face from April - October as I've started to develop a few lines Sad
Is there anything really good out there? I don't want to use a separate moisturizer as well and I want something suitable for wearing under makeup but not too greasy or 'white'.
Am I looking for the impossible?!
I've researched past threads on MN and the following seem to be recommended - sun sense, Clinique city block and clarins. I've tried sunsense but I found it too much like just regular sun cream ie quite heavy and greasy. I've also tried La Roche Posay factor 50 but I didn't like it particularly...again it seemed too much like 'just' a sun cream and not a nice facial moisturizer.
Any suggestions? Thank you!

Mac Prep and Prime factor 50. I wear it if I'm wearing makeup, but on really hot days if I'm outside a lot I'd need to reapply at least a couple of times, so I use La Roche Posay dry touch gel SPF50 then and give up actually looking good short term, and focus on not getting wrinkly long term. I find it nicer than the standard LRP Anthelios, not so greasy and spot inducing although still suncreamy.

I really like Heliocare Advanced SPF 50 Gel which my dermatologist recommended:
www.amazon.co.uk/Heliocare-Spf-50-Gel-Ml/dp/B002KDTGVE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1404684022&sr=8-1&keywords=heliocare+gel
(there is also a lighter version called SPF 30 Silk Gel and a 'Gel Cream Colour' i.e. tinted version)

Also, see this round up by Ruth Crilly:

Regarding La Roche Posay, I much prefer the 'Ultra Light' one in the weird shaped container (shown in the previous link) to the 'Comfort' one in the standard shaped tube, so if you haven't used the weird shaped container before, perhaps try that! :)

I will have to try out the LRP dry touch gel as mentioned by the previous poster as well!

Many thanks - great links, sweet pea! I think I'm going to go for the Clinique. Smile

I use the clinique in the summer and it's really good. It's basically like slightly watery tinted moisteriser.

They also do a CC cream in a high factor (40 or 50) and that's also great. It's got a bit more pigment in it, so it's basically like a lightweight foundation.

It's pretty awesome if you are looking to have two in one products.

La Roche Posay anthelios tinted cream. Love it.

I went for clarins in the end - as it seemed to be a proper moisturizer as well as a sunblock. Hopefully I'll be happy with it!
