I have been dying my hair for the last few years and its been taking its toll. Even after having a regular trim its still very dry. I am soooo tired of spending money on shampoos and oils...when nothing really seems to work well. Can anyone recommend a shampoo and conditioner that has worked wonders for exeptionally dry hair. I have used many products but the dryness just comes back. I have used kerastase oil products and they are great for 10 minutes and then my hair is dry again. Help please!! thanks in advance :)

Tresemme naturals are very moisturising.

Smell nice too.

Tresemme smells beautiful but its not good on my hair. I have tried. Its lovely however on my daughters so it just doesnt suit my hair type sadly. Thanks though.

I have had good success with a Herbal Essences hair mask for coloured hair (in a red pot) that I leave on for 5 mins after washing and conditioning (also Herbal Essences at the moment) and it leaves my hair really hydrated and smooth.

Loreal serie expert is great - on amazon you can get 1.5lt bottles for 15 quid which last about 3 months. It's saved my bleached hair (along with kerastase ultime oil)

Its an interesting thread. I will give it a try. I have tried sulphate free shampoo and conditioner but the dryness remains tbh. It did feel nice and clean though! I have given up on it because i personally didnt see the benefit of using that type of shampoo. Infact, i have used sulphate shampoos all my life so i tend to think there is an element of clever marketing.

Pureology Strength Cure is the holy grail of shampoo and conditioner for dry/damaged hair..... Also use the fabulous lengths serum.

I buy from Fabriah.com and the 3 products above cost me £45 but will last 4 - 6 months. I have never used a better combination of products.

Hth's

Redken Colour Extend works well on my hair which is colour treated and quite dry. The conditioner leaves it feeling v soft.
