Will I fit into Boden (Mini - age 16)??

So another question re Boden from me....

I noticed the kids' shoes go up to a 37 which is my size - anyone buy the kids' version for their own feet??? I actually tried on a 37 wedge in M&S kid's dept the other day and they fitted fine - but didn't buy as they had a too girlie bow on the front.

Also the 9-16yr range of girl's clothes - I saw a few basic items that were so much cheaper than the woman's ranges - do you reckon it's feasible????

I have bought the odd Boden top for myself in a size 8.

I have a few Johnnie B things, aged 15 I think they are. I'm a size 10. I haven't got any bottoms, only tops. I would be concerned about bottoms being cut much straighter than they would for women.

Most recent was a hoody which I love because it's so much longer than the women's ones.

You could try.

I was just about to buy a pair of Boden girls' boots for me when I spied the reviews and hadn't thought, of course, that the calf would be scaled down. Reviewers were saying that the calfs were incredibly tight.

I bought a shaggy fleece in age 15/16 and I am a size 8 and it was a bit small. Dd is 10 and she is wearing a 13/14 Boden fleece at the moment (and she is quite small) so I have a suspicion they try to make the clothes a bit too small for small adults.

I'm a size 4-6 in the UK and have often purchased from children's ranges (am a short arse also). Mostly OK for shoes (am a 3.5), but clothing a bit iffy because of hips and boobs. I stick to shoes, t shirts and track suit bottoms in terms of childrens sized purchases.

I fit their age 14 boys' tops, but I have zero style sense Blush

I am a size 8 in the adult range and find that the aged 13 - 14 in the Johnnie B range fits fine on me. I bought the Everyday T-shirt in navy.

NoRunAround · 23/06/2014 14:39

If you're a size 8, the Age 16 will be too big for you! I'm 10-12, and the Age 16 fits me perfectly Smile

I have a few of the Jonnie B age 13-14 plain white t-shirts and they are good. Am size 6-8 (need a Boden 6 petite in the main range) and they are a good shape (not clingy & have proper sleeves) and not too long. Thick material etc I was really pleased. Have also previously bought Zara girls jackets in 13-14/164cm.

I buy any shoes in a size 5. It doesn't matter to me if they are for kids or adults. I do have some Mini Boden ones in size 38.

I've got a JohnnieB jumper in age 15, it's okay (I'm an 10 on top) but quite snug and not very long in the body.

beccajoh · 23/06/2014 14:46

I buy kids shoes if I can get away with it (size 5). I've often wondered about the fit of the older girls Boden stuff so this is all quite useful.

Anyone know about Next teenage sizes?

BikeRunSki · 23/06/2014 14:49

I have some Johnnie B sandals in an 8, which for perfectly. Grown up lady shoes in Boden in an 8 are too small.

rideyourbike · 23/06/2014 14:54

I have a pair of johnny b jeans, and a summery vest top, fit me perfectly. I'm a size 12 5ft 10 inch person ??
