Pale opaque nail varnish

Hi ladies, hope you can help me!

I'm looking for a very pale pink opaque nail varnish. I have psoriasis and it affects my nails, so want to hide the damage as much as possible. But I also work in an environment where bright colours are not appropriate.
I've tried rimmel, No.7 and Sally Hansen but all need about 30 coats to get the desired affect!

Any ideas/recommendations?

I've got a couple of colours from this Avon range and you might like the Barely There one. It's not quite as dark as it looks on my screen, and coverage is excellent. One coat might do you, but definitely no more than two would be required. HTH

Have you tried gel nails?

Hello fellow sufferer Smile

My nails are often 'bruised' looking, I use Mavala in either soft or rose pink, or nicoisia, 2 coats seen to work very well. I'm happy to photograph my hand for you.

Ballet Slipper by Essie might be your friend.

Sally Hansen cafe au lait is lovely, you will need two coats.

Wow, thanks for your replies!
Optimist there are a couple there that I'll try, pretty cheap too Smile
thisbitch - no, never tried gel nails. The problem is that the psoriasis affects the nail bed so your own nails can feel quite vulnerable as sometimes they're not very attached to the nail bed IYSWIM (sounds delightful I know). I'd be worried that gel nails could make things worse unfortunately.

Thanks for the other suggestions as well ladies - I'll certainly give them a try. Essie doesn't work for me either sadly, right colour but too thin!

It's annoying isn't it Tommy?!

Margot it drives me up the wall Thanks If my nails aren't painted they look all dirty and bruised and generally very unpleasant, not to mention painful.

The one I'm using at the moment is rose shell by Mavala, 2 coats of colour then a top coat to harden and I usually get a week out of it, you can get them in John Lewis.
