Good clothes shops east london

Hello

I am being let loose with some money tomorrow and I need a bit of help. I always used to buy clothes from primark or h&m, DP, the usual suspects really. always poor quality and never last long. I now want to invest some money into some good quality clothes that are still fashionable but more classic in style so I can wear them for years to come. Shape and size wise I am a size 12, hoping to get down to a 10 (doing slimming world at the moment). Am about 5'3, very slight hourglass shape (pretty much straight up and down although I do have a bit of a waist). 30C bra.

I've been looking around on a few fashion blogs and websites and have found some brands I like, Acne looks nice as does Kenzo. These brands are probably top end of budget. Can anyone recommend me any other brands I might like, or shops from which to buy them? I live in hackney and am close to Start near Curtain Road so was going to head there first. Anyone know any other similar shops nearby so I can do all shopping reasonably quickly? I like Albam by Spitalfields but it's just men's clothes, haha. I actually dislike shopping so don't want to spend all day.

Thank you Thanks

There is also Oscar Milo in Spitafields that has some nice women's clothes.

Personally I would head to the hell that is Westfield Stratford go to the Kooples, COS, John Lewis and any other shops that strike my fancy. But I am not a boutique person I like a generous return policy so I can bring the items home and see how they fit with other items in my wardrobe.

Enjoy shopping.

book a free stylist session with John Lewis or Debenhams. They will suggest ideas which will suit your shape & colouring so should save you money in the long run. You dont have to buy what they suggest, just use their ideas as a template for future shopping trips.

Hub always has a really nice selection of stuff - there's a branch in Stoke Newington and one on Broadway Market. They have a website so you can see if it looks like it might be useful before heading there...

To be honest, I would get up early and go to Regent Street/Oxford Street because you've got Cos, & Other Stories, Massimo Dutti, Whistles, Liberty, John Lewis, etc etc.

Thanks msvenus, that's a good idea, I did a topshop personal stylist thing about four months ago which was great and I got lots of ideas, I did spend a bit in there too but that was really in preparation for a bigger spend somewhere else. I had vouchers I needed to use up in there, which worked out nicely.

Thanks matching for hub idea, I am very close to bway market so could pop there first, thanks!

I think the west end will be my second outing Saurus as I have liberty vouchers to spend... Mind you it is so eyewateringly expensive I don't think I couuld even buy anything Hmm
