so I saw someone from a style blog in real life

And she looked delightfully normal and not of Amazonian stature at all. She has a very glossy blog. I can now read with more ease!

I know a woman who has a blog (not a style one) and she is lovely but the persona she puts across in the blog is really quite different to her real life one!

I saw that jess Carter whatsername from the Observer style pages in the hairdressers once. She looked like any normal thirty something woman, dressed casually, no statement necklace/ season must-have bag/any other weird crap she suggests are cool on her page.

I saw a blogger in Red magazine and she looked amazing and lovely but then, she is anyway.
