I just brush mine - but DD's is more high maintenance

She thinks anything more than a minute is unreasonable - so how long do you take?

I have dead straight fine hair - the only bonus is that it takes a few minutes to dry naturally and about 2 to blow dry.

Ha ha. You are kidding right? Er, I spend a few minutes cursing , wondering where the hairbrush is. Then I just use my fingers to flatten the 'woody woodpecker' bed hair. I spend a few minutes debating whether or not to use dry shampoo (I get night sweats so my hair always looks grotty in the morning). Sometimes I just leave it until a shampoo day (normally every other day, but lately about 2 -3 days. I don't bother with mousse/spray/gel and my hair is quite short.

My god, don't you lot care about what you look like - or are you all beautiful with KM hair ?

Mine takes about 5 to 10 mins to blow dry, next comes the Babyliss Big hair thinggy then the GHD's. Takes about 30 mins in all I(DP is very good in getting the DC's ready) we leave the house about 7 am.

TBF I do have ever so veryslightly knackered hair which I have to smooth to within an inch of its life or I look like some wild woman with a bad bleach job.

Maybe I should have asked how long you took 'pre-children' Grin

^Actually reading that back makes me realise I may be a teeny bit OCD when it comes to my hair..................

The same, a minute or so, I've never been one for proper styling, it's just not me. Make-up is 5 mins tops as well, although I enjoy doing make-up a lot more than hair.

LumionaMoonsplash · 11/06/2014 23:00

If I wash it, at least 20 mins to blowdry and put up. 30 mins to blow dry and style to wear it down. To style from dry is a few minutes.

ThisBitchIsResting · 11/06/2014 23:12

I wash it every second day, and blowdry takes about 15 mins.

The other days it takes about a minute - either a quick brush or a blast with dryer and brush to smooth.

I thought I was quite vain about my hair but seems quite average on this thread. DH can stop complaining about it.
