Help me decide how to get my hair cut

I am thinking about overhauling my look so debating on changing my hair.

I want to get it cut and maybe some highlights.

I haven't decided how short yet and need to decide if short hair is actually the way forward for me based on my face shape and features.
Opinions gratefully recieved :-)

I think just above the shoulder would look great. You are very similar in looks to my friend and she looks beautiful with that length. Like the first of the three pics, but a tad longer. I really don't think you should die it.

Looking back at the pic, not longer than that sorry, that length would look brilliant.

Finally went for the cut this morning, so here is an after pic as promised!

Its a bit different to what I described but I still like it.
