I had my hair cut today...

And it's boring :(
It was a chin length bob, no fringe. I', growing out colour so thought a bit of a fringe might help hide the roots a bit, but it just looks so bland middle aged-mum ish (I am a middle aged mum but I think it makes me look older!)

I had contemplated going short..then chickened out. It would make growing out the colour easier I know.

I can't face going back to the same hairdresser..I know it't daft but I feel embarrassed. So... do I suck it up for a few months and wait, or shall I walk into supercuts tomorrow with a pic of my old short hair from years ago and go for it?!?!

Random hairdresser in a walk in salon and she just said..yes you need layers and started chopping! Then asked if I wanted it a bit shorter and voila.

I'm not looking forward to work on Monday tho. I HATE all the 'oooh you've had your hair cut' attention. (I always want to go 'what?! NOOO what happened??!!? )

But my DS1 borrows money off me at the end of every month (even tho he earns more than I do) When he pays me back I put it in a tin... and reckon I have enough to look at some botox or fillers!

LOL he is indeed. Sadly he was recently hurt.. the vet suspects humans :( and he is now a terrfied shadow of his former self.. won't cuddle , hides away and has an unspecified hip injury. Lots of meds (and bills) later we are hoping he recovers as he is a beautiful cat who was totally trusting and loving :(
