I want a new top for work. But I cannot bring myself to buy it. However, it's all I can find. Do I need to man up and face it?Sad

Man-made fabrics don't make me sweat more, they just make me stink to high heavens with BO after about 5 minutes - but I tolerate Viscose and Rayon and Modal and the likes Confused

I have the odd loose poly thing - ie oversized swingy tops which I wear a cotton vest underneath. Mainly going out tops. I have finally seen the light and now spend more money on everyday stuff than going out stuff. Only taken :0-mumble years.

But agree. I am going fairly hard core on new purchases. Natural fibers only.

No, I refuse to embrace polyester and I only do Viscose and Mondel ?? in a shop where I can feel it.

I have a viscose dress and DD1 a playsuit which are heavy and wash and hang nicely.

DD also has the top from hell that comes out the washing machine like crumpled tissue.

I don't normally iron, but it gives me absolutely no choice Angry

The bobbling of polycotton Tshirts after 3 washes is also maddening.

I have a toast dress in bamboo and some tesco tights in bamboo - both have bobbled, I was particularly upset by the Toast dress - I'd avoid. I don't sweat much, so that's not an issue, except in silk which looks awful when you sweat even a tiny bit. I avoid poly because it often looks cheap but sometimes it looks fine. Viscose is fine too. Knitted cotton loses too much shape, just like linen.

I can't wear poly, and not keen on viscose either. Has to be cotton just for the feel of it.

I walked into H+M today and there was so much polyester I got a static shock from a top and hurried out. I stick to Fatface cotton stuff mostly for comfort.

I like the way viscose hangs and drapes. It's far better than cotton in that respect.
